The Ecodynamic Enterprise label

Guaranteeing our ecological approach on a daily basis

This Brussels label recognizes projects and companies that have invested in reducing their environmental footprint. It includes all the practices put in place daily to control the impact of our activity on biodiversity. Resource management, water, waste, paper, soil pollution, etc.

SMILEY

Protecting the safety of the entire food chain.

From the selection of suppliers to the management of allergens and the respect of the hot and cold chain, the Smiley of the FASFC label is a self-control hygiene system, supervised and certified by external audits. Products are traced to ensure that no substances are present that are not suitable for consumption. We make every effort to comply with food safety regulations.

Good Food

Making our name through our sustainable approach.

An initiative of Brussels Environment, Good Food supports establishments in the hotels, restaurants/caterers and pubs sector that are committed to a sustainable approach. This label was born following the request of the people of Brussels to be able to list the actors registered in an ecological project. Several criteria are included in the overall assessment grid, such as the consumption of local and seasonal products and the available alternatives to animal proteins.

FOOD DONATION

Distributing our surplus food to those most in need.

Surplus food collected after an event and in accordance with FASFC standards is redistributed to various Artfood partner associations, including the Restos du Cœur and the Samu Social.

RECYCLO

Collecting and composting our organic waste in urban areas.

Artfood partners with Recyclo for the composting of its organic waste. This Brussels-based organization, which is sensitive to the problem of waste in urban areas, provides companies with a carbon-neutral waste management, cargo bike collection and recycling service.

WEFOREST

Contributing to the balance of biodiversity through reforestation

With WeForest, an NGO active in reforestation, Artfood commits to financing 2,000 trees a year. WeForest restores whole swathes of forest, plants trees and ensures their protection. Reforestation is essential to the balance of natural resources and is one of the most effective ways to control climate change.

The Certisys label

Communicating transparently about the origin of our organic products.

At least 20% per year of the financial value of our purchases comes from organic farming. Certisys is a certification awarded to companies that meet this percentage. Artfood hopes to see this increase, year on year. This European label highlights our approach that respects the environment and our customers’ health. Finally, it allows us to communicate the origin of our products in complete transparency.

GREEN DEAL LOGISTIQUE URBAINE

Reducing the environmental impact of urban goods transport

Since 2025, Artfood has been committed to reducing the environmental impact of its urban deliveries. In line with the Good Move plan, we are implementing concrete initiatives to make our logistics more sustainable. From using cargo bikes, electric vehicles, logistics hubs to optimizing delivery routes, our solutions are designed to support a smoother, more sustainable and responsible mobility in the capital city.
